This paper presents an investigatio n of the market of color inkjet printing equipment and consuming materials,mainly focusing on inkjet inks.Owin g to their superior characteristics,i.e.low price,small volume,low noise,considerable color gamut etc.,the s ale' s volume of color inkjet printers in China already hit 12million sets in 2001,consequently bringing a very large market demand for inkjet inks.Presen tly,more and more Chinese firms are e n-gaged in the manufacture of inkjet in ks,some domestic ink products with h igh quality and low price are already developed and should be welcomed by t he consumers.
