The HIV/AIDS prevention and control in Yunnan Province was summarized, including polices implementation, multi-department coordination, international cooperation and the whole society commitment. The article also introduces the development of STD/HIV/AIDS prevention and control projects, and attitudes on issues related to STD/HIV/AIDS among the mass media,government leaders and general populations.
