On the Methodological Meaning of Western Feminist Psychology

女性主义心理学自产生以来 ,对于西方心理学具有重要的方法论指导意义 ,主要表现在 :女性主义对主流心理学的核心假设———客观性与价值中立的批判 ,动摇了实证主义在心理学中不可一世的地位 ,使心理学关注历史文化价值因素成为可能 ;女性主义心理学动摇了主流心理学的男性中心主义霸权 ,使女性经验与主观性成为心理学合法的研究范畴 ;女性主义心理学所倡导的女性主义认识论与方法论 ,从不同的角度引起了心理学家对主流心理学方法论的反思 。

Feminist psychology has very important metholdogical meaning to Western psychology since its coming onto the historical stage of psychology. The crticism of feminst psychology to the key assumption of mainstream psychology——objectivity and value-free theory ——has shaken the arrogant status of positivism in psychology,and made it possible that psychologists pay more attention to the historical and cultural factors. Feminist psychology also has shaken the andocentric status of mainstream psychology,and made the women's experiences and subjectivity the objcet of psychological study. The epistemologies,initiated by feminist psychology,has arisen psychologists'reflection upon the methdology of mainstream pschology from different angles and promoted the methodological reconstruction in psychology.
