人类社会有着悠久历史和丰富的传统文化 ,值得人类继承并发展下去。从世界教育史上看 ,人类从古代到近代都非常注重传统文化的传承。现代教育在强调掌握科学知识的同时 ,也更加重视对未来人才人文素质的培养 ,美国一所社区学院开设的“世界文化传统”课就是一个很好的例子。在高校开设人文综合课程也是提高我国当代大学生人文素质的第一条重要途径 ,对于开设这类课程的各种研究 ,从指导思想、教材教法到教师的培训都值得一线教师密切关注。

Humanity and its society have a very long history, so the traditional culture is quite rich, which is worthy to be inherited and developed by the following generations. In the history of education, humans made a special effort to pass down its valuable traditions. Though modern education has put strong emphasis on science and technology, it still considers those humanity qualities very important to the future generations. A course named 'World Culture Tradition' in a community college in U.S.A is a case in point. Today, integrity courses have become really important for developing the qualities of college students. Researches on them, such as instructive ideas, pedagogy and teacher's training should be paid great attention by every teacher.
