An Oral Health Survey of 341 Old People

目的 了解静安区老年人口腔卫生知识、口腔保健行为、意识及对口腔病预防的要求与希望。方法 对 341位60～ 74岁的老人采用问卷调查式。结果 脑力与体力劳动者在基本的口腔卫生知识方面无差异,而在口腔卫生专业知识、口腔卫生行为及意识方面,脑力组显著优于体力组。结论 老年人群中口腔卫生知识水平不够理想。口腔卫生宣教的重点人群是体力劳动者,重点内容是口腔专业知识及防病的新技术。

Objective To find out the oral knowledge, oral health-care action and consciousness, the demands and hopes for disease prevention of the old people in Jing'an District. To explore a new way of oral health-care and put forward to oral health-care suggestions for the old people in community. Methods 341 old people from 60 to 74 years old in the community answered a questionnaire. Results There was no difference between mental professionals and physical laborers about the basic knowledge of oral health-care. But there was an obvious difference between them about the professional knowledge of oral health-care. Conclusion The old people lack enough knowledge of oral health-care. It is suggested mass media act together to spread both basic and profound oral hygiene knowledge to both mental professionals and physical labor-
