在信息时代,高校为适应社会并引导社会,应重视校园网建设,主动进入国际、国内网络,成为信息中心。而高校图书馆在校园网建设中应具有重要的地位与作用。为此,要加强图书馆网络及数字图书馆建设。

As we enter an epoch dominated by information revolution, great importance should be attached to GWN construction and building information center. Based on this background, the author points out that bibraries play an important role in CWN, meanwhile discusses the importance and function of CWN, especially on problems that emerge in library network and digital library construction.
