回顾了中国共产党 80年的光辉历程 ,进一步明确“三个代表”重要思想是党的建设的指导思想。高等学校党组织做为高等学校的核心力量 ,必须将“三个代表”做为高等学校党建的指导思想 ,深入贯彻“三个代表”的重要思想 ,全面加强高校党的建设。对高等学校党的建设的重要性进行了阐述 ,即 :全面加强党的建设 ,是坚持高水平大学社会主义方向的根本保证 ;全面加强党的建设是高水平大学的重要组成部分 ;全面加强党的建设是建设高水平大学的重要推动力。高校党组织必须肩负起实践“三个代表”的重任 ,把建设高水平大学作为我们近期奋斗目标和中心任务。对于我校 ,就要把建设“国内一流、世界知名”

Looking back the brilliant eighty-year history of the Communist Party of China, this paper stresses that the important thought of 'three-representings' is the guiding thinking of the Party construction. The Party organization in colleges and universities, as the core force, should take 'three-representings' as the guiding thinking of the Party construction, carry out thoroughly the important thought of 'three-representings', and strengthen the Party construction comprehensively. Also, this paper explains the importance of the Party construction: to strengthen the Party construction comprehensively is the essence of adherence to the socialism direction and the key components for the well-advanced universities, and principal driving force for the building up of well-advanced universities. The Party organizations in colleges and universities should shoulder the important task of carrying out 'three-representings' and take the construction of well-advanced universities as the struggle objective and central task.
