This paper discusses the tendency and characteristics of science and technology innovation faced by enterprises in future. Science and technology innovation in future will bear the following characteristics: integrating information, human resources, capital and other resources together; focusing on advanced science and technology; establishing new innovation chains; conducting technological coordination well in advance; cultivating the long-term enterprise competence; stressing attention economy effects; motivating people with creative models; and enhancing competence with corresponding strategies. Only possessing the above characteristics can enterprises gain the high rate of returns on investments and create new competitive advantages.
