The process philosophy as created by Whitehead shares much in common with Chinese traditional philosophy. Though the two thoughts pertain to different cultural systems, they were both neglected. With the ever-changing world patterns into the 21st century, the rational value of the process philosophy of Whitehead and Chinese traditional philosophy increasingly emerged and have provided for ideological concepts to derive from. This article verifies the fact that these two ideas are becoming indispensable ideological resources for the contemporary social development.
