An Examination of the Ming Tang Yue Ling

关于明堂制度的研究争议至今并未完全解决 ,其原因之一是研究者大都忽略了这样一点 ,即明堂传说最盛的时代在战国秦汉之际 ,其传布与阴阳家尤其是阴阳家的明堂月令之说有关 ,它使明堂制度经过阴阳五行说的整体再塑 ,如分析所谓明堂五室或九室之制 ,即可证明这点。因而今日欲恢复上古明堂制度真相 。

Debates over the institution of Ming Tang Yue Ling are yet to be resolved. One of the reasons for this is that most researchers have neglected one point, i.e., the prime days of the legends of Ming Tang were between the Qin and Han dynasties of the Warring States and its spread had to do with the Yin-Yang School , especially, the Ming Tang Yue Ling of the Yin-Yang School. The Ming Tang Yue Ling were holistically remolded through the Yin-Yang Five Elements. The analysis of the so-called Ming Tang five chambers or nine chambers verified this point. Therefore, in order to restore the truth of the ancient institution of Ming Tang, the colorings of Yin-Yang Five Elements that cover it must be stripped off.
