摘要
A series of water soluble N maleoyl chitosan was synthesized in an acid homogeneous solution. Their chemical structure were demonstrated by FTIR and UV spectra. The effects of the mole ratio of anhydride to amino group of chitosan in feed solution on the solubility, intrinsic viscosity() and the yield of product were studied. The results showed that the solubility of N maleoyl chitosan was greatly improved in water. The highest yield was obtained at 0 5 mole ratio of maleic anhydride to chitosan.
