也谈《萤窗异草》之成书年代及作者

New Research into Ying Chuang Yi Cao: About Its Author and Its Time of Publication

针对传统观点的局限性 ,综合研究已有资料及成果 ,笔者认为《萤窗异草》始创于乾隆时期 ,但经历了一个长期的流传与整理过程。其作者不是庆兰 ,也不是申报馆之人 ,而是待考的才士 ;而申报馆则在该书的搜集整理及印行等方面 ,做出了突出的贡献。

Different from the conventional point of view, this article, based on comprehensive investigation, suggests that Ying Chuang Yi Cao was written during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. Having undergone a long period of passing down and reediting, it becomes what it is today. Its author is neither Ying Qinglan nor someone from the Shen Newspaper House, but a certain gifted scholar who was to take the national test. Yet the Shen Newspaper House made outstanding contributions to compiling and publishing the book.
