Characteristics of the Distribution Type SCADA System's structure, hardware and software and its functions are introduced. This paper emphatically analyzes situations of application of the system to electric railway transform project at Lou-Da section of Xiang-Qian railway line. It will widely open thinking and provide experiences for development and application of the Distribution Type SCADA System.
