Having penetrated into the area of translation studies, Deconstruction has made a significant impact on some basic issues in traditional theories, thus initiating a thorough reconsideration of them. This paper points out that Deconstruction , which causes some confused translation practices , has shed a stimulating light on translation studies in the new millennium with its new perspective . For the sake of it , we should lay great emphasis upon Deconstruction抯 active and useful effects on translation studies .
