New Trend in the Mergers and Purchases of Chinese Enterprises:A Case Study of the Bidding for the stockholder's rights to Lizhu Group

企业并购是企业因为激烈的市场竞争而主动选择的发展战略。长期以来,我国绝大多数企业并购都是在政府部门牵线搭桥和具体实施的,政府在企业并购过程中起着主导作用。2002年3月至5月期间,太太药业和东盛集团通过我国证券市场对丽珠集团股权争夺进行的企业并购,呈现出我国企业并购的新趋势。

The purchases and mergers of enterpr ises have become an active strategy o f develop-ment for enterprises in the market co mpetition.For a long time in the past,most mergers and pur-chases in China have been conducted with the government as the broker.The government has played a vital role in the mergers and purchases.From March to May in 2002,the Taitai Medical Company competed with teh Dongsheng Group fo r the bidding for the stockholder's r ights to Lizhu Group.Such competition reflects a new trend in t he mergers and purchases of Chinese e nterprises.
