摘要
从语言学维度解读《俄狄浦斯王》这个剧本,剖析语言对于现实的先在性和创造性。指出以预言形式出现的“能指”极大过剩,使“所指”(人的实际命运)更趋模糊与诡秘;同时,将剧中人物错综复杂的关系视为最大的“能指”进行分析;通过对剧本情节的推衍力证语言创造现实的观点。
King Oedipus is especially rich in co ntent and arouses our infinite imagination.Here the author tries to study the drama in a linguistic way and analyze the pre -existence and creativeness of language in contrast to reality.F irst,the author points out that the'signifier'in the form of'oracle'is abundant in its significance,whi ch makes the'signified'in the form of the hero's fate vaguer;on the other hand,the compli cated relationship of the characters in the play is analyzed as the most outstanding'signified';finally,with the support of the plo t,the author proves forcefully that language creates reality.In this th esis,King Oedipus gets out of the con trol of fate,and falls into the linguistic system of postmodernism.
