伴随西部大开发 ,西部少数民族地区社会现代化受到了学术界的高度关注。本文拟将迟发展作为一种视角 ,对西部少数民族地区社会现代化的特点、困难、问题与出路 ,尤其是迟发展的负面效应 ,展开较为系统的分析 ,以期对正在进行的西部大开发 ,尤其是民族地区开发提供一定的借鉴。

With the west development,academic fields have paid great attention to the society modernization in west minorities regions.Taking the late-development as a kind of idea,the article systematically analyzes the features,difficulties,issues;solution,especially the side-effect in the course,intending to be helpful to the west development as well as the development of minorities regions.
