The hardware components, software components and system function of “vessel spare parts management system” are introduced in the paper. This is the first vessel spare parts management system in COSCO, which could be applied to comprehensive management of quotations, orders, customs invoices and has several ways to inquire and make statistics of planning fee, order fee, paid fee and payment in advance. With this system great economic and social benefits can be obtained and vessel spare parts management level improved.
