The development of the Shanghai international shipping center and Huangpu River provide the exploitation of the shipping services of North Bond with a great opportunity. In this paper the history and situation of the shipping services of North bond of Huangpu River is analyzed at first. Then, the opportunities and challenge, superiority and inferiority to develop the shipping services of North Bond are indicated. Finally, some requirements and suggestions how to develop the shipping services of North Bond is pointed out.
