玉洁纯 (2 ,4,4′ trichloro 2′ hydroxydiphenylether)是一种非离子的高效广谱抗微生物剂 ,对于一般常见的细菌、真菌及酵母等病原菌 ,玉洁纯都具有杀灭功效及抑制作用。国外学者长期的临床观察证实含有玉洁纯的牙膏和漱口水能有效地控制菌斑和缓解牙龈炎症状。玉洁纯的毒性极低 ,并无异味、无刺激感。从玉洁纯的理化性质和药理作用、玉洁纯控制菌斑的机理、玉洁纯在牙膏和漱口水中的应用等 3个方面论述了国外学者对玉洁纯在牙膏和漱口水中的作用机理和应用的研究现况 ,为我国牙膏工业口腔卫生用品的技术革新提供了有益的参考。玉洁纯在我国口腔卫生用品中的应用正在迅速崛起 ,其发展趋势预计将会带动整个行业。

Triclosan (2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphen y1 ether)is a nonionic,broad spectrum, antimicrobial agent. Because of its favorable safety profile, it has been incorp orated into a variety of many personal care products,including deodorant soaps, underarm deodorants,shower gels,and health care personnal handwashes.A new appli c a tion for triclosan is in oral dentifrices for plaque control.Currently under inv estigation in the United States,it is approved for oral care application in Can a da and many European countries.The antibacterial agent triclosan has demonstrate d antiplaque and antigingivitis activity in several clinical studies.Retention o f antiplaque agents is of significance for their clinical effect.The present sit uation of antiplaque principle and clinical trial of triclosan in toothpastes a nd mouthrinses are related in this paper.It is contained three parts with physic s-chemical function,control of plaque,production triclosan principle.It provid es profitable reference for reforming toothpaste and mouthrinese and developing Chinese toothpaste industry.Triclosan quickly rises at our country oral hygiene application.The trend of its development will anticipate and arouse whole profession.
