Research for the Lateral Forces on Railway Curves

阐述了横向力计算的必要性 ,介绍了铁路曲线状态下横向力的计算方法 ,通过计算得出了横向力与车重、超高、速度、曲线半径的关系 。

In the paper, the necessity of the calculation and its method for lateral forces on railway curves are discussed. By means of these calculations, the relations of the lateral forces to the train speed, axle load, curvature of the curve, superelevation (or cant ) are found, and the main measures taken to reduce the lateral forces are suggested.
