It had been researched that alizarin red acted as modifier in the flotation separation of phosphate rock and dolomite.The separation mechanism of phosphate rock and dolomite was investigated by using the spectrum of UV adsorption and atomic adsorption spectrophotometer.The results showed that alizarin red modifier wasn't effective in reverse flotation of the separation of phosphate rock and dolomite.
