The Study on the Sugarbeet Rhizomania

甜菜丛根病是五十年代在意大利帕河流域首先发现的一种毁灭性病害。在许多栽培甜菜的国家广泛而迅速蔓延,成为制糖工业生产上的一大隐患。本文详细阐述了该病的发生为害、症状类型、病原毒BNYVV的特征性、传播媒介Polymyxabeskin Keskin的形态和生活史、病害的侵染循环、发病环境、诊断方法、病株调查分级标准、为害损失估计及防治途径。

Sugarbeet rhizomania was first reported in Italy in 1950's. As time being, this disease has been affecting on the sugarbeet production and sugar industry. The diagnostic of rhizomania, the characteristics of beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV)——the pathogen of rhizomania were described in detail. The morphological characteristics and the life cycle of Polymyxa betae——the vector of the BNYVV were discussed. And the cycle of infection, the conditions of epidemic and the methods of diagnosis of rhizomania were discussed too. And the standard of the diseased plant classification, estimation method of loss in yield from rhizomania and methods of controlling for this disease were suggested.
