Research on chemical reagents for syntheses of DNA fragments (Ⅱ)——Preparation and application of DMTCI

用苯甲醚制备的格氏试剂和苯甲酸甲酯反应,再用乙酰氯氯化得 DMTCl,收率70.1%。实验证实,DMTCl 是核苷5′-羟基的优良保护剂。

The intermediate prepared from methyl ben-zoate and Grignard reagent(magnesium p-meth-oxyphenyl bromide)reacted with acetyl chlorideto produce DMTCI.The yield was 70.1%.Ithas been shown to be an excellent protectingagent for 5'-hydroxy group of nucleosides.
