The column piers and abutments are the common types of those piers and abutments in bridge engineering. The length of the bent cap between columns on the upper of the piers anb abutments and the length of cantilevers shall affect directly on the applied force and fabricating. The acting forces on the bent cap for double\|column and muti\|conlumn are analyzed in this article, with the computation method for proportioning of the length of a bent cap.
