Uncertainty, Liquidity Restraints and the Chinese Household Consumption Behaviours

消费低迷、储蓄攀升、经济疲软是近年来我国宏观经济出现的一个引人注目的现象。本文通过建立一个包含不确定性和流动性约束在内的模型阐明其中的内在机理 ,在此基础上提出锯齿型消费曲线假说 。

Consumption depression, soaring saving and economic slack are noticeable phenomena that appear in our macroeconomy in recent years. This paper sets up one model including uncertainty and liquidity restraints to explain the inherent mechanism among them, on which basis, it puts forward hypothesis of sawtooth type consumption curve and explains its causes.
