摘要
本文介绍一个用来设计及研究GaAs器件及其IC,且具有良好的图形交互界面的IC-CAD软件,它可以完成诸如示波、扫频、频谱、阻抗与电平测量、信号源发生等传统实验室中的各种硬件功能,对GaAs器件及其各类微波集成电路的分析、设计与开发有着重要意义.
An IC-CAD software system called 'GaAs IC virtual laboratory' which can analyze and design the GaAs ICs with its friendly graphic user interface is introduced in this paper. Starting from the MESFET model whose all. DC and AC parameters can be determined accurately by a parameter extraction module using global optimization in the laboratory, the system can complete circuit simulation in the frequency domain (in the form of S parameter) and in the time domain, harmonic balance analysis for the nonlinear circuits,noise analysis,and Monte-Carlo statistical analysis. An optimization subprogram is also provided. It is meaningful to the research and development of various kinds of microwave circuits as wall as GaAs VHSIC.
