Study on CHEN XIUYUAN'S Clinical Experience on Diagnosis and Treatment of orthopedics

陈修园对骨伤科病症颇有研究 ,提出风、痹、痿三证的鉴别诊断 ,对后世有所影响。治法尊崇《内经》、仲景 ,方撷百家之长 ,顾护气血 ,内外兼顾 ,值得研究推广。

Based on his full study on orthopedics,CHEN XIUYUAN put forth the differentiation between the wind,bi and wei syndrome,which exerted a great impact on later gonerations.As for treatment,he respected the theory of Huangch's classis on medicine and Zhongjing,employing profound prescriptions from various schools.Besides,he emphasized on cheriching vital qi and blood as well as treating both the interior and exterior at the same time,which deserves further studies and spreeding.
