Effect of Nutrition Education on Nutrition Status of Rural Children

摘要 目的 探索营养教育对农村婴幼儿营养状况的影响。方法 对农村婴幼儿父母及看护人和孕妇实施一年的营养教育 ,并对实施营养教育前后的农村婴幼儿身长、体重进行测量 ,运用WHO推荐的小年龄儿童参考值对其营养状况进行评价。结果 实施营养教育前后 ,女婴幼儿低体重比例均比男婴幼儿高 (P <0 .0 1) ,其它方面均差异无显著性 (P >0 .0 5 ) ,实施营养教育后 ,农村婴幼儿肥胖、低体重比例有所下降 (P >0 .0 5 ) ,超重比例明显下降 (P <0 .0 1) ,处于正常营养状况比例明显提高 (P <0 .0 1)。结论 实施营养教育 ,农村婴幼儿营养状况明显改善 。 Objective In order to understand effect of nutrition education on nutrition status of rural children. Methods One year nutrition education was give to babies parents and supervisors and pregnant women. The height and weight of the rural children were measured before and after nutrition education. Nutrition status was assessed with criterion recommended by WHO. Results Before and after nutrition education, low weight ratio of female babies was significantly lower than that of male babies (P<0.01). There were no significant difference in the other aspects (P>0.05). After nutrition education, the proportion of obesity and lower baby weight were dropped (P<0.05). The proportion of over weight was dropped apparently (P<0.05). The proportion of normal status was raised apparently (P<0.01). Conclusions nutrition education could improve nutrition status of rural children. Meanwhile, two phenomenon, that is, malnutrition and over nutrition, should be paid close attention to.
