The result shows that the oppositifolious maize DUIYU99 3 has obvious superiority than the mutual maize in the compact shape, the total of leaves, leaf area, the yield of every strain and drought resistance. It has a large potential on the respect of increasing yield, and it will be applied on farm after being improved deeply .
