Observes on Harm and Life Cycle of Kuwanaspis howardi Cooley in Hubei Province

贺氏线盾蚧在湖北省主要分布于赤壁、崇阳、咸安等县 (市、区 ) ,1a发生 2代为主 ,少数 1a 1代或 3代 ;大部分以第 2代受精雌成虫越冬 ,小部分以第 1代雌成虫、第 3代 1龄若虫和雌性 2龄若虫越冬。

The Kuwanaspis howardi Cooley distributed in Chibi,Chongyang and Xian'an County in Hubei Province. It occurred mainly two generations in one year, one or three generations in one year minorly. The major parties of Kuwanaspis howardi Cooley overwinter by the second generation pregnant female imago,a few parties of Kuwanaspis howardi Cooley by the first generation female adults or the third generation 1st-instar or 2nd-instar female larva.
