摘要
介绍了二氧化硫催化氧化生成三氧化硫的新工艺 ,其特点是反应温度低 ,采用有机溶剂洗涤 ,可得到较高的硫酸浓度 ,同时设备腐蚀小。该工艺有希望革新现有的硫酸生产工艺 ,尤其适用于处理二氧化硫的排放。
A novel catalytic process for oxidizing sulphur dioxide to sulphur trioxide is described, in which, SO 2 is oxidized to SO 3 on active carbon at low temperature and then SO 3 is stripped by organic solvent to form highly concentrated sulphuric acid. The corrosion of equipment is rather low because of low reaction temperature. The process can be used for retrofit of existing sulphuric acid plants and especially for disposal of sulphur dioxide emission.
