Analyzing the unique qualities of Foreign Direct Investment(FDI)and comparing the policy environments adopted by the “Asian Model”and the “Latin American Model” in utilizing FDI,this essay concludes that the“Asian Model”has built an effective incentive mechanism and is symmetric with the unique qualities of FDI.Therefore the model deserves approval and reference.
