Partial transverse process resection for Bertolotti's syndrome

目的:观察末位腰椎部分横突切除术治疗Bertolotti's综合征的疗效.方法:回顾分析11例单侧Bertolotti's综合征患者(Ⅰ型和Ⅲ型)的临床表现、影像学特征,根据术后患者疼痛和功能状况及X线检查等评价部分横突切除术的治疗效果.结果:11例患者随访6个月～4年(平均2年8个月),术后下腰痛症状消失,恢复正常生活,X线复查无继发性改变,疗效满意.结论:部分横突切除术治疗Bertolotti's综合征是一种有效的治疗方法,特别适于Ⅰ型和Ⅲ型患者.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of partial transverse process resection for Bertolotti' s syndrome.Method:To analyse the clinical presentation,imaging feature of11patients with Bertolotti' s syndrome retrospectively.The clinical and radiological results of partial transverse process resection were evaluated by qusetonaire and X-ray film.Result:11patients were followed-up for6months at least(6months-4years,average2years and8months).The surgical treatment effect was perfect for all11patients according to the pain relieving,functional status and X-ray film.Conclusion:Partial transverse process resection is an effective and considerable method for Bertolotti`S Syndrome,especially for patients of type I and type III.
