The Roots of Agricultural Crisis in Africa

近年来 ,非洲农业发展缓慢 ,地位下降 ,处于危机之中。其根源在于 :非洲国家失误的发展政策 ,不利的自然条件 ,落后的农业技术 ,内战冲突频发 ,以及发达国家操纵的不合理的国际经济秩序。在新世纪 ,非洲农业发展的方向应是 :加强农业的基础地位 ,建立以粮食生产为中心的多样化格局 。

In recent years, African agriculture has developed slowly and its status in the economy has declined. The roots of African agricultural crisis lie in the following: incorrect development policy taken by African countries, unfavorable natural conditions, backward agricultural technique, frequent civil conflicts, and the unfair international economic order dominated by the developed countries. In the new century, the direction of African agriculture development should be focused on the sustainability, namely, strengthening agriculture's basis status, establishing a diversified system that takes grain production as its core, and popularizing the use of agri-biological techniques forcefully.
