This paper introduces the trial operation of wet spray dust collector in the Coking Plant of Liuzhou Iron & Steel Company. The detection and verification after fabrication, installation, test and operation indicate that the wet spray dust collector applied to metallurgical coking dust is not only easy in operation, maintenance and efficient in dust control but also lower in cost, which is only about 20% of that of EP or bag house filters.
