随着国家经济实力的逐步增强,全国大多数图书馆的硬件设施都发生了翻天覆地的变化,集成化、网络化、数字化的浪潮一波接着一波,令人目不暇接。但随之而来的一种“重硬轻软”的思潮出现在图书馆和图书馆学界,那么,图书馆的事,是否随着硬件条件的改善就可以一蹴而就了?对设计以用户为中心的数字图书馆进行探讨。

As the country ’s economy strength graually enhances, most of libraries ’ facilities inhardware have taken an earthshaking change. Methods of integration, network and digital coding are used oneafter another. But a phenomence of “ attaching importance to hardware which making ligt of software” appeared afterwards in the library community. Will the work in a library can be accomplished only withthe improvement in hardware? This paper gives an inquiry into the construction of digital libraries withusers as its centre.
