再论资本逻辑视阈下的技术与正义——基于“魏则西事件”的分析

On Technology and Justice from Perspective of Capital Logic——A Case Study of “Wei Zexi Incident”

2016年5月,"魏则西事件"引爆舆情,民众纷纷将矛头对准此次事件的责任方——莆田系医院和百度公司。不可否认,莆田系医院和百度公司确实要对此次事件负全责。尽管政府对涉事方作出了处罚决定,但简单的惩罚并不能从根本上解决问题。逝者已逝,我们不能改变事实,但我们需要认真思考引发这场悲剧的根源究竟是什么?"魏则西事件"真正的幕后根源是资本逻辑的盛行和资本的宰制。事实上,莆田系医院和百度公司恰恰是资本逻辑的现实投射。在"魏则西事件"中,我们可以从两个维度对事件本身作进一步的反思:第一,莆田系医院通过与百度合作,实现了"互利共赢",这是资本与资本的联姻。第二,莆田系医院借助于百度的"竞价排名制度",实现了利益最大化,这是资本与技术的合谋。正是资本与资本的联姻以及资本与技术的合谋"绑架"了正义,触发了激烈的社会矛盾。解决关涉利益的矛盾问题,在当前的语境下,就是要大力发展生产力以及解决好再分配问题。这就要求我们既要发挥技术优势,也要发挥制度优势。进一步说,就是要实现技术正义与制度正义。相应地,通向社会正义的路径有两条:一个是通过科学和技术力量推动的生产力;一个是通过制度因素优化而形成的生产关系。

On May 2016, the“Wei Zexi incident”ignited public opinion and people targeted Putian?style hospitalsand the search engine giant, Baidu, the responsible parties of the incident. Undeniably, the Putian?style hospital andBaidu should take full responsibility for the incident. Although the government has made decision to imposepunishment on the responsibility parties, it fails to solve the problem fundamentally. The deceased has passed away,which can't be changed, but it calls for serious consideration about the root causes of the tragedy. The root causesbehind the“Wei Zexi incident”lie in the prevailing capital logic and capital domination. In fact, Putian-stylehospitals and Baidu are the real projection of capital logic. The“Wei Zexi incident”can be reflected on from twodimensions. First, the cooperation between Putian?style hospitals and Baidu creates a“win-win situation”, which isthe“marriage”of capitals. Second, Putian-style hospitals achieve the maximum benefit by means of Baidu's paidlisting advertising model, which is the conspiracy of capital and technology. It is the marriage of capitals and theconspiracy of capital and technology which“kidnaps”justice and triggers intense social contradictions. Under thecurrent context, to solve the problem of contradiction concerned with interests involves the development of theproductive forces and proper redistribution, which requires us to take the advantage of technology and institution.Furthermore, we must achieve technology justice and institutional justice. Accordingly, there are two approaches tosocial justice: one is the productivity promoted by science and technology; the other is relations of production formedby the optimization of institutional factors.
