摘要 SDN和NFV因其架构的开发性和灵活的可编程性,成为下一代网络变革的核心技术之选。文章从SDN/NFV典型应用场景的需求出发,分别对云数据中心和广域网中SDN/NFV的部署进行了深入分析。云数据中心"按需申请"和"按使用付费"的运营模式,要求其网络拓扑必须能够及时地根据业务进行调整;基于SDN和NFV的网络服务虚拟化能够将业务的逻辑网络拓扑与物理网络拓扑相解耦,极大地提升了业务的交付速度。广域网由于管理域和业务模型的复杂性,对SDN/NFV的部署有更高的要求;基于分层多域的控制器架构能够为多域之间的协同提供帮助,而支持不同粒度的广域网流量工程则可以实现网络资源的充分利用。文章选取AT&T和Google作为运营商和互联网企业的代表,分析它们在SDN应用上所做的工作和取得的成果;最后,对SDN/NFV部署过程中可能存在的技术、业务等不同方面的挑战进行展望性的探讨。 Both SDN and NFV are the essential technologies of the next-generation network for their open architecture andflexible programmability. Since datacenters and WANs are two typical scenarios of SDN and NFV, this paper discusses theirrequirements and then analyzes the deployment of SDN and NFV in these applications. For cloud datacenters, the “on-demand”and “pay-as-you-go” operation modes request the agile adjustment of network topology. The network service virtualizationbased on SDN and NFV decouples logical network topology from physical network topology, which boosts the service delivery.For WANs, they possess the more complex management domain and business model, which require higher for SDN/NFVdeployment. The hierarchical controller can help with the coordination among multiple domains, and the traffic engineering ofdifferent grains can take full advantage of network resources. This paper also takes AT&T and Google as examples to discusstheir work and achievements on SDN applications. Finally, several challenges to the technologies, business and so on duringthe deploymnet of SDN and NFV are discussed.
