The Exploration of “Sweet Guy” Symbol and Its Gender Practice and Discourse Transformation

"暖男"符号的构建作为社会实践的结果,特别是其文本特点,再现了当前社会环境下的两性之间的关系和体验,同时,它作为实践意识和符号系统,再次作用于当前的性别关系之上。在父权核心的性别话语体系中,暖男符号体现了女性的自我意识和诉求表达,还颠覆了传统的性格气质二分方式,对体现男性群体在当前市场化、国际化和多元化社会背景中对新的角色规范需求的焦虑和认同的矛盾,具有重大意义。

The construction of “sweet guy” symbol, as the result of social practice, especially its text feature,reappears intersexual relation and experience in the current social environment. It meanwhile acts on the current gender relations as practical consciousness and symbol system. In the gender discourse system centered on patriarchy,“sweet guy” incarnates female self-awareness and demands expression and subverts the traditional bisection method of gender temperament, which has a great significance to reflect the contradiction that male group’s anxiety and identity about new role requirement.
