对反义复合词“左右”语法化的认知分析

A Cognitive Analysis of Grammatical Changes of the Antisense Compound Word “zuoyou”

反义复合词"左右"在汉语发展史中经历了名词—动词—助词—副词这样的语法化过程,在研究中不仅要梳理出该词具体的语法化演变历程,而且要从中找出原因和规律。从认知的角度浅析"左右"的语法化历程,可以试图说明隐喻在实词虚化中的重要作用,为其他语法化现象的研究提供经验。

The use of the antisense compound word “zuoyou” has experienced such changes: first as a noun, then a verb, anauxiliary word and at last an adverb. How and why its use has changed must be found out in our studies. By analyzing the changesfrom a cognitive perspective, this papers aims to illustrate the important role of metaphor in the process during which a content wordbecomes a function one, and to provide some insight for studies on other grammatical changes.
