The Cape Belts of Naxi Women who Live in Nanshan, Lijiang, Yunnan Province

本文以云南丽江坝南部山区纳西族妇女的披肩带为调查对象，详细记录了当地纳西妇女披肩带赖以存在的地理环境、制作方法、式样、演变历史及不同时期的文化内涵，为保护和传承传统纳西族妇女服饰文化留下了一份宝贵的田野资料。

The Naxi people mainly live in Lijiang, Yunnan province. This paper takes the Nanshan of Lijiang as an example, and introduces the cape belt. The cape is one of the iconic costumes of the Naxi Women. Every cape have two belts, that two belts are bilateral symmetry and identical with each other in material, sewing method, color, style, sizes and shape. A long cape belt length is about 170 cm, width 3~8cm, sharp end symmetrical. The main role of the long cape belt is to take a cape tied to the wearer's body and ornament. A long cape belt with three sewing methods, The most classic and representative cape belt is hand embroidered with white canva and black line near the end. Embroidery pattern consists of three sections, butterfly, tassels and flower. Butterfly and tassels form is relatively stable, and flower more styles,usually a pair of cape belts have five or seven strips of flowers. The cape belts with embroidery decoration neat, delicate, fully embodies the ingenuity of the Naxi Women, enthusiasm for a better life yearning, the rise and development of cape belt in Lijiang Nanshan with witness the Naxi people and their lives.
