B_2O_3和Si粉的添加对碳化硼陶瓷性能的影响 被引量:2

摘要 采用反应烧结的方法通过热压工艺(2000℃保温1 h)以B_2O_3和Si粉为添加剂制备了碳化硼陶瓷复合材料,研究了不同添加量对陶瓷致密化和力学性能的影响。研究表明:加入B_2O_3和Si粉后制备的碳化硼陶瓷的致密度和力学性能都有明显地提高。添加5wt.%B_2O_3和5wt.%Si粉的碳化硼复合材料的相对密度、硬度、断裂韧性和抗弯强度分别达到了99.3%、30.9 GPa、4.59 MPa·m1/2和442 MPa。添加1wt.%B_2O_3和1wt.%Si粉的碳化硼复合材料的断裂韧性能够达到4.97 MPa·m1/2。 Boron carbide (B4C) ceramic composites were fabricated by hot-pressing at 2000 ℃ for 1h with B2O3 and Si through reactive sintering. The effect of B2O3 and Si content on the density and mechanical properties of the composites was studied. The results show that the density and mechanical properties of B4C ceramics prepared by adding B2O3 and Si were significantly improved. When 5wt.% B2O3 and 5wt.% Si are added, the relative density, hardness, fracture toughness and flexural strength of B4C ceramics is 99.3%, 30.9 GPa, 4.59 MPa · m1/2 and 442 MPa, respectively. When 1wt.% B2O3 and 1wt.% Si are added, the fracture toughness of B4C ceramics can reach 4.97 MPa · m1/2.
