This paper first describes the abnormal sound of the vehicle in the idle condition. The solutions are analyzed from three aspects: the source of the excitation, the response components and the transfer path. The most effective method to solve this problem is obtained. At the same time through the comparison test the effectiveness of the optimization measures is verified. The transmission idle noise is improved and solved.
