以能力为导向的八年制卓越医学人才培养的改革与实践

Instructional reform and practice of competence-oriented 8-year medical program for medical excellence

"5+3"一体化临床医学专业培养的实施,对试办八年制医学教育的院校提出了新的挑战。本文重点介绍了华中科技大学同济医学院围绕培养医生科学家潜质的人才为目标,以能力为导向构建八年制人才培养体系;实施PBL教学改革,注重学生自主学习能力、沟通交流能力、信息管理能力、批判性思维能力的培养;实施全程科研训练,培养学生创新意识和科研能力;实施全程临床实践,培养医学生临床能力;同时采用八年制三阶段综合考试,促使八年制培养目标得以测量和实现。

The integrated "5+3" medical education system has raised a new challenge to institutions with tentative eightyearmedical education regime. Based on an educational reformation at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University ofScience and Technology, this paper argues for the construction of a competence-oriented 8-year educational system, so as totrain up medical specialists with potentials to be physician scientists.In the system, a PBL (problem-based learning) approachis applied to develop students’ competences in self-directed learning, communication skills, information management andcritical thinking. Meanwhile, students are immersed in a variety of training sessions to inspire creativity and skills requiredby scientific research and inquiry. In addition, abundant opportunities of clinical practice are offered to cultivate students’clinical competence. The educational project is accomplished and assessed with a three-stage comprehensive evaluationallocated in the eight years of education.
