Objective:To compare the effect of dexmedetomidine and midazolam for sedation in patients with general anesthesia.Methods:80 patients were randomly divided into the group M and the group N.The group M was treated with dexmedetomidine for sedation.Midazolam sedation was used in the group N,various time periods using BIS monitoring. We recorded the BP,HR changes and extubation time of T0 that patients entered the operating room before given dexmedetomidine and midazolam,T1 time of induction of anesthesia and tracheal intubation instant T2,operation end of T3 and T4 time of pulling out the tracheal catheter. Results:The BIS value of the group M in T1 and T2 time period was significantly lower than that of T1 time period BIS value of the group N,HR slowed down significantly compared with the group N,BP change decreased, and there were significant differences(P<0.05).The extubation time of the group M was significantly shorter, and there was a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion: Its hemodynamics is stable, but the heart rate slows down after anesthesia induction.Dexmedetomidine has a satisfactory sedative effect in the use of general anesthesia, and its hemodynamics is stable, but the heart rate will slow down after anesthesia induction.
