中国社会具有东方落后国家的典型特征,经济社会发展落后,各种矛盾尖锐复杂,革命更容易爆发和胜利。在革命酝酿和进行时,中国无产阶级政党须争取领导权,在民族民主革命胜利后努力把形势引导到社会主义革命阶段,争取社会主义革命的胜利。在社会主义建设时期,不能采取"强攻"资本主义的方式,须适度"后退"到国家资本主义阶段,利用资本主义生产方式发展社会生产,"迂回"到社会主义社会。在改革开放新时期,中国社会主义建设理论与实践须从马克思列宁主义理论中汲取丰富的理论营养。

Since Chinese society was once typical of the social characteristics of oriental backward countries, the economic and social development then lagged behind and all kinds of contradictions were acute and complicated.As a result, it is likely to spark the revolution and lead it to the victory. During the course of the revolution, Chinese proletarian party struggled for the leadership of the revolution. After the victory of the national- democratic revolution, the party should conduct the socialist revolution in the national situation and strive for the success.Rather than attacking capitalism, a moderate regression should be taken to the stage of state capitalism in the period of socialist construction to develop social production and socialist society with the capitalist mode and outflanking tactics. In the new era of reform and opening up, it is important to draw abundant nutrition from Marxism-Leninism for the theory and practice of Chinese socialist construction.
