Investigation of Five-Minister Delegation on the Eastern and Western School Education

五大臣考察团是清政府于1905年派出的以考察东西洋国政治为主要目的的考察团。在考察西方政治的同时,他们也参观了诸国的学校及其他教育机构,对他们的基础教育、大学教育、军事教育、职业教育、女子教育等有了感性的认识,对诸国的学校教育方面的优越性给予了充分的肯定。

The Five-minister Delegation was sent by the Qing Dynasty government in 1905, with primary purpose to investigation politics of eastern and western countries. While investigating the countnes' politics, they also visited schools and other education institutions. Through investigation on schools providing basic education, university education, military education, vocational education, and female education, the delegation gave full affirmation to the superiority of the countnes' schooling education.
