硕士留学生全英文岩石力学教学改革实践与分析--以石工研究生专业留学生高等岩石力学课为例

Teaching Reform Practice and Analysis:Lecturing in English for Oversea Master Students' Rock Mechanics Course——With the Rock Mechanics Course of Oversea Master Students Majoring in Petroleum Engineering as Example

实施外语授课是高等教育国际化进程中的一个重要环节,也是硕士留学生课程教学的必要手段。中国石油大学(北京)在石工专业硕士留学生班进行高等岩石力学全英文授课的教学改革和实践,本文对全英文授课教学效果进行评价、比较和分析。实践证明,该课程的全英文授课结合留学生专业和文化背景实际,探索了全英文授课的教学模式,并对进一步推广经验有一定的借鉴意义。

Lecturing in English is an important aspect in the internationalization process of higher education as wellas the necessary means for the teaching of oversea master students' courses. CUPB makes a teaching reform and practiceamong its oversea master students by providing English lectures in higher rock mechanics course. The effect of lecturingin English is evaluated,compared and analyzed. It is proven by teaching practice that lecturing in English should beintegrated with the academic and cultural background of abroad students. The specific mode of lecturing in English isexplored to provide reference for the further spreading of teaching experience
