地方普通高校向应用型转型是经济发展新常态的必然要求,是高等教育结构调整的内在要求,是改善毕业生就业状况的迫切需要。地方高校要想实现成功转型,必须解决"为什么转"以及"如何转"的问题。转型发展必须吸取借鉴试点高校转型的成功经验,坚定转型信心,主动转型,率先转型,就一定能完成转型发展的使命。

I t is an inevitable trend to promote the local universities to transform to application -oriented universities, because it is a requirement of economic development, the high education structure regulation and the improving employment rate. If the local universities realize the transformation development, it is to resolve two questions: why our local universities need the transformation and how to transform. It is important for local universities to transform on their own, to take the lead in transforming, and assimilate the advanced experience. Only by doing so, transform development can achieve success in local universities.
